MISSION
The Patriot Press at West Carteret High School is a central media team, comprised of our student newspaper, morning news, and podcast. As a group of student journalists, we work diligently to produce engaging and relevant news coverage for our West Carteret community. We strive to involve the spirit of our community through our reporting and inspire thought-provoking conversations amongst our audience.
OPEN FORUM FOR STUDENT EXPRESSION
The Patriot Press is a public forum for student expression. Our student writers and editors make content decisions without interference from school officials, unless these decisions are unlawful or seriously disrupted.
West Carteret is a vibrant, diverse community, and we would be thrilled to have your voice be apart of the press. The Patriot Press accepts article submissions for the Opinions section. Articles are typically between 400 to 800 words, but submissions of any length will be considered. Submissions may be sent by email to 25scking@s.carteretk12.org
