Indoor marching season is around the corner! However, that means that the fall season for the Carteret Collective Sound is coming to an end. From endless heat in the sun, to fanning over bands in Conway, South Carolina, the Carteret Collective Sound definitely had a season that we'll never forget.

With the spring season slowly winding down here at West, there have been many impeccable athletes in soccer, track, tennis, lacrosse, and baseball. On the track team, one runner is a standout freshman who is leaving the competition in the dust. Freshman Tucker Dickinson is not only a star varsity soccer player, but he has also found himself among the top runners in his class by recently competing at the prestigious New Balance Nationals for the winter season. Earlier today I had the opportunity to hear more about his high school career and how he plans to keep excelling in his sport.
